The coin card is the heart of OutOfDark. In one place you get photos, details, certification, catalog references, the acquired price, current value, grade, notes and historical context. No scattered spreadsheets and drawers.

OutOfDark doesn't force one universal system on you. You build your own hierarchy of categories, periods, rulers, mints, denominations and tags – so the collection adapts to you, not the other way around.

No retyping by hand. Paste the URL of an auction lot or a screenshot and AI pre-fills the ruler, denomination, year, material, weight, certificate and description. Or simply snap the coin with your phone and let it tell you what you're holding. You just check the result and save it.

Right beside every coin card you have AI Mincmistr – an assistant you can ask about the ruler, historical context, minting details or market presence, and get an answer in seconds.

Track the acquired price, current value, your collection's growth and its most valuable pieces. For bullion metals the value recalculates against the live metal price; for numismatic rarities the manually kept value stays in charge.

Coins you no longer need in your collection you can list straight from the app – on Aukro, on eBay, or in the shared marketplace among OutOfDark collectors. The photos and details carry over by themselves.

Save the pieces you want to buy into a list of planned purchases and set a maximum price for each, so you don't overpay in the heat of an auction. And in the auction calendar you clearly see when and where the bidding happens – with a reminder so no opportunity slips by.

Your data is fully under your control – easy to get in and out. You import your whole collection from a spreadsheet, download it again as an export whenever you like, daily backups run automatically, and nothing holds you here against your will.

The safety of your data is a priority for us, not an afterthought. You can protect sign-in with two-factor authentication, your data is backed up daily, and we never sell it or show ads.
